Jess is an artist based in Weatherford, Tx.  

My work plays on the thresholds of open space and crowdedness, of sharpness and obscurity, from faces to landscapes. I like to find the isolation in the crowd, and whatever is dreamlike inside the waking moment. My subject matter tends towards unstaged and unpolished moments of everyday human experience, some western themes, and often portrays them through the lens of after-impressions, memories, daydreams, and fleeting thoughts.
